Claires Diabetes Charity Run

Hi! My name is Claire, I am 26yrs old and have been diabetic for 16 years, its never stopped me doing any thing as I still play football for a ladies team, play pool for the pub team and still go out doing normal things!! I also work with kids.

The charity run I am raising money for is the Diabetic Assocation, I am running in memory of my friend who was ill and died this year, she was only my age and she was also diabetic.

I have a friend (called Celia) from work who is doing the charity run too, as it was her daughters best friend who died and my friends daughter is diabetic as well.

I raised £423 which I am very pleased with and few of us are doing it again
next year including my mum!!.
Luckily the weather was on our side and really nice day out i was starving
at the end!!.
I got my medal and few pic which i will try send to you through email.
